Experience

  • Nickelodeon

    UX/UI Designer

    March 2016-February 2018

    Reported to the UX/UI Web Platform Lead for Nick and Nick Jr., creating animations, interactions, prototypes, analyzing test results, concepting ideas for A/B tests, performing UAT and UI design. Working with cross-platform teams to ensure there is parity.


    Lead the Micro-interaction team, ensuring interface animations and interactions are created, approved, tested, specced and implemented across all platforms. Designing new experiences for Nick and Nick Jr. for Roku, launching mid-April.


    Redesigned Nick and Nick Jr. sites, working within an Agile team, collaborating with Engineering to ensure effective execution of designs. Optimized NOGGIN App (from 70 to 40MB), & designed NOGGIN Marketing page (with 17% click-throughs).

    Lead Designer

    October 2015-December 2015

    Branded online product for a startup, which allows tutors to remotely teach math to students in the UK. Worked with lead UX Designer to clean up UI for the system, using Atomic Design’s component methodology.

    Lead Designer, Commercial

    April 2014-October 2015

    Reported to the Head of Online to translate project briefs into engaging solutions.Storyboarding, user flows, design and animation for the Nutrition section, Apps page, Media Kit, Hellmann’s sponsorship, contests and 404 page.


    Worked with Commercial team on pitches and sponsorships. Created social graphics to bring traffic to our recipes section. Site traffic in September, 2014 was 9.2m unique users, and 10.7m for September, 2015.

    Senior Web Designer

    December 2013 - March 2014, London

    Set up digital design team for print agency, created pitches and met with existing print clients to sell digital offerings. Trained print designers and created workflow for team.

  • LINE Communications Agency (Leo Learning)

    Consulting Creative Lead

    June - November 2013, London

    Part of a KPMG-led consortium to design learning architecture and virtual campus to reach 10,000 NHS leaders. Managed a team of four designers, set up best practices and dealt with tight timelines.
